Even though I haven’t yet reached Financial Independence (FI), I strive to live as though I already have. My goal is not only to accumulate sufficient financial resources but also to create a lifestyle that will allow me to transition smoothly when the time comes. I want this moment to be less of a drastic shift and more of a natural step into a new, calmer routine. Here’s how I am preparing to make sure that life after achieving FI won’t come as a surprise, but will seamlessly integrate into what I’m already doing.

  1. Taking Care of My Sleep

Sleep is the foundation of good health and productivity. To feel energised every day, I prioritise getting enough sleep and ensuring its quality. It’s a simple yet powerful habit that costs absolutely nothing and offers tremendous benefits. By sticking to regular sleep routines and creating a restful environment, I’m setting myself up for better overall well-being, which is essential for my journey to Financial Independence.

  1. Planning Holidays While Keeping Costs Low

I know that once I achieve Financial Independence, I’ll have more time to travel and explore new places. Even now, I carefully plan my holidays, using all the tricks I know to keep costs down.
